Back to normal

Boy does it feel good to have things back to normal. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas, but between that and parties and Mia's B-day, it goes buy so fast and is sooo stressful, I really don't have to enjoy it. So my goal this year is to start in July. I will start buying presents, and crafts long before Christmas so that I will be able to enjoy it next year. Oh, and to spend more time with the kids. I cannot believe Mia is 7 years old already. There are a few things that stick in my head and I will never forget. When she was a toddler, she could not say "grasshopper". So she said "Ha ha hopper". To this day, when Brian and I see a grasshopper, we say "ha ha hopper", lol. Or "carry you" when she wanted to be picked up. I can see her little face turned up at me, arms reaching to be picked up and saying "carry you, carry you". Sniff sniff.
I have been working on a few of the swaps I am in, and am so happy with the way they turned out. I will post pics of the valentine swap I am in when I am done decorating the box.

And this is what I made. Its a cute little box and I tucked a felt heart ornament inside. I hope they like them!




I am in a Cupcake swap on Swap-bot (I know, another swap, lol) and these are the goodies I am sending her. I will post pics when I get my package.


A couple days ago I went to a thrift store and found the this ADORABLE bowl! I couldn't pass it up.(AND it was on sale for 8 dollars!)It will fit right in with my shabby theme.
